At Ysgol Calon Cymru in central Powys there are around 150 students in the sixth form. We prepare students for their future pathways by providing excellent career advice and support, as well as offering opportunities to improve their personal statements, such as the Young initiative and the Duke of Edinburgh Awards so that our students have the best possible chance to succeed with their future applications. We work together with employers to give important advice to students, and support with work placements, mock interviews, and residential jobs. We are proud, not only of the high academic standards we try to achieve but also of developing confident, ambitious and independent learners.
