Overview of the course

A Diploma in Customer Service is a combined qualification includes BTEC & NVQ.

45 credits at level 2 or above, 19 of which are mandatory units.

General tasks involve greeting customers, presenting a positive impression of yourself and your organisation. Dealing with customers face-to-face or by telephone or process customer service information, deliver reliable customer service, handle problems and develop & improve customer

Learners will be required to have a work placement for live assessments.These cannot be simulated.

Learners will be expected to do 1 or 2 days per week with an employer as well as 1 or 2 days per month in classroom. Access to a laptop would be beneficial.



This qualification will demonstrate to employers that you are dedicated to a career in customer service. The practical skills and abilities developed over the course of the qualification will help you stand out when applying for future customer service roles. Following successful completion of this course, you can choose to progress to a related Level 3 courses or apprenticeships.
